Technical regulations regulating the sphere of food safety are divided into two groups:
Technical regulations that apply to all types of food products:

• Technical regulation of the Customs Union "Food products in terms of labeling" (TR CU 022/2011), approved by Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union on December 9, 2011 N 881
• Technical regulation of the Customs Union "Safety requirements for food additives, flavorings and processing aids" (TR CU 029/2012), approved by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on July 20, 2012 N 58
• Technical Regulations of the Customs Union approved by the Commission of the Customs Union on August 16, 2011 N 769 "On safety of packaging" (TR CU 005/2011) only for packaging in contact with food
